Vintage Tunina Venezia Giulia IGT by Jermann is a white wine that boasts exceptional complexity and refinement, recognized among enthusiasts and connoisseurs as one of the top in its category. Produced in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, this label is a prime example of Jermann's ability to blend local and international varieties to create wines with unique character.

The cuvée of Vintage Tunina typically consists of Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, and Picolit, which impart a rich and complex structure. This wine is characterized by an enchanting aromatic palette: floral and fruity notes intertwine with nuances of honey and vanilla, derived from partial maturation in French oak barrels.

On the palate, Vintage Tunina reveals itself as full-bodied and enveloping, with a tasteful balance between acidity and sapidity, making it persistent and pleasantly harmonious. The richness of flavors includes ripe fruit like peach and apricot, enriched by hints of sweet spices and a slight minerality.

Ideal as an accompaniment to sophisticated fish or white meat dishes, this white wine is also an excellent companion for risotto and mushroom-based dishes. Furthermore, its aging potential allows for appreciated enjoyment even several years after harvest, discovering new nuances of its rich bouquet.

In summary, Vintage Tunina Venezia Giulia IGT by Jermann is a high-class wine that expresses the quality and winemaking passion of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, making it a must-have for lovers of complex and structured white wines.

Winery history
The Jermann family has Central European roots and settled in Friuli in 1881. The estate grew as a family-run business and experienced a major step up in quality in the 1970s thanks to Silvio Jermann, who created the renowned blend Vintage Tunina and introduced innovative winemaking approaches. In subsequent years the estate expanded its production sites and consolidated an international presence; in March 2021 the sale of a majority stake to the Marchesi Antinori group was reported, with a commitment to maintain continuity in the management of the wines.

The winery emphasizes vineyard care, a focus on quality and an approach that combines respect for tradition with oenological experimentation, with a particular preference for aromatic whites and characterful blends.
