Winery history Jermann

The Jermann family has Central European roots and settled in Friuli in 1881. The estate grew as a family-run business and experienced a major step up in quality in the 1970s thanks to Silvio Jermann, who created the renowned blend Vintage Tunina and introduced innovative winemaking approaches. In subsequent years the estate expanded its production sites and consolidated an international presence; in March 2021 the sale of a majority stake to the Marchesi Antinori group was reported, with a commitment to maintain continuity in the management of the wines.

Production philosophy

Strong focus on terroir and winemaking practices aimed at enhancing the aromatic purity of the grapes. The winery emphasizes vineyard care, a focus on quality and an approach that combines respect for tradition with oenological experimentation, with a particular preference for aromatic whites and characterful blends.
