The Montedonico DOC Viognier produced by Terenzi winery is a rare gem in the wine scene. This white wine, cultivated in the temperate regions of Italy, stands out for its intensely floral and fruity aromatic profile.

With its bright golden color, the Montedonico DOC Viognier by Terenzi is a clear example of the potential of this grape variety. On the nose, it offers a complex and elegant bouquet, with distinct hints of peach, apricot, and floral notes of jasmine and acacia flower. A light shade of honey further enriches the olfactory complexity of this wine.

On the palate, the Viognier DOC captivates with its perfect balance between acidity and roundness; its smoothness envelops the palate, leaving a silky sensation that precedes a persistent and pleasantly aromatic aftertaste. The structure is well integrated with moderate alcohol content, allowing the full appreciation of the tasteful nuances without overwhelming the senses.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with flavorful fish dishes, shellfish, or lightly spiced Asian cuisine, this Viognier DOC proves to be a versatile and sophisticated companion for various culinary occasions.

Producing a Viognier of such quality requires careful attention and dedication, qualities that Terenzi winery has proven to possess, turning each sip of this wine into a true sensory experience.

Winery history
The Terenzi project originated from the family's investment in the Maremma. After Florio Terenzi's move to the countryside, noted as a family initiative since the 1990s, the operation was organised and developed commercially with the construction of the winery and the planting of new vineyards from 2001; today it is managed by the family, including Balbino, Federico and Francesca Romana.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of elegance and expressive clarity, with Sangiovese at the core and measured experimentation with white and international varieties. Vineyard work is oriented toward sustainability, cellar technology serves quality, and attention is paid to territorial identity.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated in the municipality of Scansano in the Tuscan Maremma, the estate benefits from sea breezes and well-drained clay soils. The vineyards extend across hills facing the sea, in a landscape also connected to local cultural projects.
