Amrut Indian Single Malt is an extraordinary example of how whisky can be crafted with mastery even outside of Scotland. Produced in India, this majestic creation enchants with its bold aromatic profile, intertwining notes of malt, spices, and hints of chocolate and citrus. With an alcohol content of 46%, it offers an intense and lingering tasting experience, characterized by a medium body and a complex range of flavors.
The distillation takes place in the heart of India, and the process used for their Single Malt is meticulous, reflecting the principles of traditional Scottish whisky production, but with a distinctive local touch. Aging in warm climates accelerates the maturation process, giving the whisky a unique richness and depth.
This whisky is presented in an elegant and sophisticated gift box, making it an ideal gift for spirits enthusiasts or a prestigious addition to your collection. Perfect to be sipped neat or with a splash of water to enhance its aromatic complexity.

Distillation
For whiskies and gin Amrut predominantly uses copper pot stills and traditional washbacks; for some rums distillation is performed in iron stills from jaggery, followed by blending with aged foreign rums.
Ageing
Maturation in the Indian tropical climate with strong cask/spirit interaction; frequent use of finishing phases in different cask types to create expressions such as Portonova (finishing in port pipes) or preparations with sherry/intermediate sherry.
