Whisky Jura 13 years presents a measured, recognisable profile: elegant in form and solid in character. On the nose there are notes of malt and honey, with white-fleshed fruit and a light maritime hint that fades into a subtle smoky touch; it’s not an overpowering style, but rather a balanced build of sweet and iodine-tinged tones. The overall impression is clean, with a well-balanced warmth that invites a sip without overwhelming the details.

On the palate it confirms a pleasant roundness and a medium-bodied structure, where the sweetness of honey weaves with delicate spices and a saline touch that brings freshness. The finish is persistent, with fruity echoes and a slight earthy aftertaste that invites a second sip. Excellent enjoyed neat in a tulip glass, it pairs well with aged cheeses, smoked meats or a square of dark chocolate, to be savoured slowly.
