The Macallan 12Y Double Cask Whisky, presented in an elegant Giftbox, is a refined and complex expression of the famous Scottish distillate, matured in an innovative combination of American and European oak wood. This particular choice of barrels ensures an impeccable fusion of flavors and aromas.
With an aging process of 12 years, this whisky stands out for its aromatic notes of dried fruit and honey, enriched by an undertone of vanilla and sweet spices, attributed to the use of barrels previously used for Sherry. The palate is gratified by a silky texture and a perfect balance between the sweetness of caramel, candied fruit, and a light spiciness that persists in the finish.
The Giftbox presentation makes the Macallan 12Y Double Cask an ideal gift for whisky lovers or an exquisite addition to a connoisseur's collection. The care in maturation and meticulous balance of flavors reflect Macallan's prestigious heritage in the world of high-quality distillates.

Distillation
Small copper pot stills ('Curiously Small Stills') built by Forsyths; traditional new‑make production process for single malt (use of copper pot stills).
Ageing
Maturation in oak casks with heavy use of sherry‑seasoned casks (Jerez, often Oloroso); combined use of European and American oak and of ex‑bourbon casks. Many casks are seasoned with Oloroso in Jerez before arriving in Scotland.
