The Macallan 15Y Double Cask Whisky is a superb expression of the art of Scottish distillation, carefully aged for fifteen years in a combination of American and European oak casks. This bi-material maturation imparts an extraordinary complexity to the spirit, skillfully balancing spicy and sweet tones.
This whisky presents itself with a golden amber color, revealing intense aromas of ripe fruit, caramel, and subtle hints of chocolate on the nose. On the palate, the structure is smooth and enveloping, with notes of vanilla, dried fruit, and a slight aftertaste of cinnamon and ginger, refined by the long aging process. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant balance between sweetness and spiciness.
Ideal as a gift for enthusiasts, the Macallan 15Y Double Cask Whisky is presented in an elegant Giftbox that highlights its prestige and refinement. A true gem for connoisseurs, perfect to be enjoyed neat, to appreciate every nuance.

Distillation
Small copper pot stills ('Curiously Small Stills') built by Forsyths; traditional new‑make production process for single malt (use of copper pot stills).
Ageing
Maturation in oak casks with heavy use of sherry‑seasoned casks (Jerez, often Oloroso); combined use of European and American oak and of ex‑bourbon casks. Many casks are seasoned with Oloroso in Jerez before arriving in Scotland.
