The Macallan 18 Years Sherry Oak Whisky is a prestigious selection that embodies the excellence of the Macallan distillery. Originating from the Scottish Highlands, this whisky matures for 18 years exclusively in seasoned oak casks previously used for sherry. This process imparts the distilled spirit with an intense golden color with amber hues.
On the nose, Macallan 18 Years Sherry Oak Whisky reveals a complex bouquet with predominant notes of dried fruits, particularly raisins and figs, complemented by warm tones of sweet spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, it opens with a silky and rich texture, offering a harmonious balance between the sweetness of the malt and slightly spicy hints. The finish is persistently elegant, with an aftertaste in which echoes of dark chocolate and a hint of candied orange can be recognized.
This bottle is presented in an elegant gift box, making it a perfect option for celebrating special occasions or as a gift for high-quality whisky enthusiasts.

Distillation
Small copper pot stills ('Curiously Small Stills') built by Forsyths; traditional new‑make production process for single malt (use of copper pot stills).
Ageing
Maturation in oak casks with heavy use of sherry‑seasoned casks (Jerez, often Oloroso); combined use of European and American oak and of ex‑bourbon casks. Many casks are seasoned with Oloroso in Jerez before arriving in Scotland.
