The Whisky Peated of Amrut represents an Indian excellence with a strong character, born in the Bangalore region, where the climate favors unique maturation. This single malt is made with peated malted barley, which gives the spirit an intensely smoky aromatic profile, typical of peated whiskies but with a fresh and vibrant personality.

The aging takes place in oak barrels that previously held bourbon and sherry, helping to balance the peatiness with sweet notes of vanilla, dried fruit, and warm spices. On the nose, it opens with scents of wood smoke, aromatic herbs, and touches of honey, while on the palate it reveals itself as soft and persistent, with a pleasant oily sensation and a enveloping finish that recalls peat and some balsamic notes.

This whisky is ideal for those seeking an intense tasting experience, capable of evoking distant landscapes through a perfect balance between Indian tradition and Scottish influences. It pairs well with spicy dishes and smoked meats, or simply to be contemplated in a moment of relaxation.
