The Whisky Single Malt Amrut is born from the fertile lands of Bangalore, India, a territory that combines tropical climate and altitude, giving the distillate unique characteristics. Made exclusively with malted barley and produced in small batches, this whisky represents a harmonious balance between Scottish tradition and Indian innovation. The aging takes place in oak barrels, which enrich the distillate with complex and enveloping aromas.
On the nose, Amrut releases intense notes of ripe fruit, such as apple and pear, accompanied by hints of honey and sweet spices. On the palate, it reveals itself full-bodied and velvety, with an elegant structure that evokes touches of vanilla, tobacco, and a slight smokiness. The finish is persistent and enveloping, with a slightly spicy aftertaste that invites another sip.
Perfect to be enjoyed neat to fully appreciate its nuances, this Indian single malt can accompany aged cheeses or dark chocolate-based desserts, offering a refined and surprising sensory experience for lovers of characterful whisky.
