Pairing Red meats, roasts, aged cheeses
Deep, ruby-red color with violet highlights, the aroma is direct and clear. On the nose ripe dark fruit, plum and sour cherry emerge, accompanied by light earthy notes and a hint of balsamic that balances the picture. Sweet spices and a touch of Mediterranean herbs add depth without overwhelming; the profile remains taut and inviting, with freshness that encourages drinking.

On the palate the sip confirms structure and clarity: medium-full body, tannins well present but polished, lively acidity that supports the wine and makes it glide. The texture is savory, with a persistence that reaffirms the fruity and spicy notes through to the finish. There is also a touch of dusty tannin that provides grip without being aggressive, making this Aglianico suitable both for convivial occasions and for more structured dishes. Versatile at the table, it pairs with roasts, braises, meat ragù and aged cheeses; a late decanting is advisable to open up its aromas. Serve at around 16–18 °C to appreciate its balance and depth.
