Polvanera 14 clearly shows the temperament of Primitivo di Gioia del Colle DOC: in the glass it appears intense, with aromas of ripe red fruits and plum, shaded by a spicy note that runs through the bouquet. The palate is full and enveloping, warm but well balanced, with well-polished tannins and a roundness that does not take away freshness and sapidity; a slight finishing tension invites another sip without weighing it down.

On the palate it confirms a sincere structure and a clear fruit that remains at the center, with spicy returns and a pleasant persistence. It lends itself to immediate consumption but can gain from a few years in bottle or from a short exposure to air in decanting; excellent with roasts, stews and aged cheeses, it is a versatile choice for everyday meals and informal dinners. Serve at around 16–18 °C.
