It comes from the vinification of 100% Pinot Grigio grape berries, coming from the classic area of Alto Adige Valle Isarco. The vinification is carried out with a soft pressing, a brief contact with the skins; the fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, half in oak barrels and half in steel, without malolactic fermentation. This is followed by 7 months of maturation on the noble lees.
A white wine of straw yellow color with golden reflections. The bouquet is broad and complex, characterized by fruity hints of pear, green apple and tropical fruit, mixed with floral and delicately spiced references. The taste is harmonious and rich, with a balanced final freshness and the right persistence.
It goes perfectly with light hors d'oeuvres with cold cuts and medium-aged cheeses, it's also excellent with egg or mushroom-based dishes, and it's ideal served with freshwater fish and boiled seafood.
