The Pinot Noir originating from the picturesque Isarco Valley is a wine that embodies the elegance and refinement of one of the most beloved and celebrated grape varieties in the world. This wine is a specimen that reflects the delicacy of the South Tyrolean terroir, known for its cool climate and ideal growing conditions that favor the slow ripening of the grapes.

Pinot Noir stands out for its delicate ruby color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers a complex, enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe cherry, wild berries, and a slight touch of sweet spices due to aging in wood. The olfactory complexity evolves with aeration, revealing floral and earthy nuances that add depth and intrigue the senses.

On the palate, it is distinctly soft and well balanced. Its refined acidity harmonizes perfectly with silky tannins, creating an elegant structure that extends into a persistent and aromatic finish. The presence of light tannins contributes to a velvety texture that embraces the palate.

Perfect to serve at a temperature of 16-18°C, Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with delicate dishes such as not overly elaborate red meats, mushroom dishes, or medium-aged cheeses. It is also a wine that can be enjoyed on its own, allowing its subtle and complex character to reveal itself sip after sip.

Vinified with passion and precision, this Pinot Noir is not just a wine, but a true expression of the passion for quality and respect for the South Tyrolean winemaking tradition. An authentic pleasure for wine lovers seeking a rich and satisfying sensory experience.

Winery history
The Isarco Valley has an ancient winemaking tradition. Cantina Valle Isarco was founded in 1961 by a group of local winegrowers. Over time its production facilities have been renewed and it expanded its public services with a modern wine shop. In 2021 the winery celebrated its 60th anniversary and refreshed its image and labels.
Production philosophy
Highlighting the distinctive qualities of the mountain terroir through collaboration among small winegrowers: the winery operates as a cooperative to preserve its connection with the local landscape and to focus on grape quality, with particular attention to the white varieties typical of the Isarco Valley.
Terroir and vineyards
The production area is the Valle Isarco, characterized by gravelly, well-ventilated terrain, relatively dry climates and pronounced diurnal temperature variations. The vineyards are planted on steep slopes and terraces at varying elevations and include cru such as the areas around the Monastero di Sabiona.
