Winery history Bibich

The Bibich family has been linked to viticulture in the Skradin area for centuries: local documents and estate descriptions refer to written traces as early as the 15th century. In recent decades the estate has become an international point of reference for Dalmatian wines, thanks to the work of family members who have promoted local varieties and the estate's wine and food hospitality.

Production philosophy

Production focused on enhancing indigenous grape varieties and minimal intervention: vineyards cultivated using ecological/organic practices, hand-harvested grapes, and winemaking that favors spontaneous fermentations and traditional techniques to produce food-friendly, terroir-driven wines.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate is located in Plastovo, in the municipality of Skradin. The vineyards are set in a karst landscape on limestone-rich soils, with a Mediterranean climate close to the sea.
