The Chassagne Montrachet 1Er Cru Champgains from Pillot is born in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, one of the most prestigious areas of Burgundy, renowned for white wines of extraordinary finesse. This Premier Cru sublimely expresses the potential of the Chardonnay grape, grown on soils rich in limestone and clay, which give elegance and structure to the wine.

The traditional vinification method, with careful fermentation in wooden barrels, allows for balanced maturation, enhancing the aromatic complexity without overpowering woodiness. In the glass it stands out for its bright golden color, with intense aromas of ripe white fruit, delicate flowers, and a mineral hint reminiscent of flint. The taste is enveloping, fresh and persistent, with a well-calibrated sapidity that invites a long finish.

Perfect paired with baked fish dishes, shellfish or soft cheese, it is a sensory journey into the Burgundian terroir that fascinates with refinement and personality.

Winery history
The Pillot family has been established in the Côte Chalonnaise for several generations: the company's website records six generations of winegrowers and viticultural activity on these hills for around 150 years. Bottles have been marketed since the 1960s, and the winery, with parts dating to the 18th century, was renovated in the 1990s. Romain and Simon are listed as the current managers, who officially took the reins of the estate in 2024.
