The Chassagne Montrachet Premier Cru "Fairendes" from Pillot winery is an excellent example of the elegance and refinement that characterizes the great white wines of Burgundy. Produced exclusively with carefully selected Chardonnay grapes, this wine represents the perfect alchemy between the region's unique terroir and its ancient winemaking traditions.

The vineyard from which it comes, "Fairendes," is known for its rich limestone and clay soil, which gives the wine extraordinary minerality and intense aromatic complexity. The practice of fermenting in French oak barrels, followed by aging for about 12 months in the same wood, enriches the wine with subtle hints of vanilla, butter, and toasted notes while maintaining an impressive balance with the vibrant fruit.

On the nose, the Chassagne Montrachet "Fairendes" offers a bouquet of inviting aromas ranging from green apple and lemon to more evolved touches of hazelnut and bread crust. The palate is seduced by a creamy texture and vibrant acidity leading to a long and persistent finish, with aftertastes of citrus and mineral.

This wine is ideal for accompanying sophisticated fish dishes, shellfish, roasted chicken, and soft cheeses. Its structure and complexity also allow for excellent aging potential. A true gem for lovers of high-profile white wines and for those wishing to explore the depth and variety of the Grand Crus of Chassagne Montrachet.
