Winery history Albinea Canali

Founded by a union of growers from the Lambrusco hills, the winery developed as a cooperative in the first half of the 20th century and, over time, expanded its number of suppliers and its commercial offering. The company name and corporate structure were updated over the years and, beginning in the 2000s, ownership came under the Cantine Riunite/CIV group, which relaunched several premium labels dedicated to Lambrusco.

Production philosophy

To showcase the territory and the Lambrusco grape through the selection of grapes from suppliers and modern winemaking techniques. The winery combines local tradition with modern cellar technology to produce wines intended both for the restaurant trade and for retail.

Terroir and vineyards

Hills south of Reggio Emilia: a hilly area well suited to Lambrusco, with vineyards clustered in small basins that express the local character of the variety.
