Rozelieures (Distillerie Grallet-Dupic)

The Grallet family's activity on the site dates back to the late 19th century as an agricultural and fruit-growing business (the official site indicates the establishment of the arboriculture and cereal business in 1877). During the 20th century the family developed production and commercialisation of eau-de-vie (mirabelle). The whisky project emerged in the early 2000s from the collaboration between Sabine Grallet and Christophe Dupic; the first commercial single malt (Origine Collection) was launched in 2007. The company progressively integrated all production phases, acquiring its own malting floor and production equipment.

To highlight the local terroir and control the entire supply chain (from the land to the glass). Strong focus on traceability, the use of ingredients grown on the estate and innovation while respecting single malt production traditions.

Rozelieures (Lorraine), in north-eastern France (Grand Est). The site is characterised by local soils and resources, with references to the nearby volcanic relief of Essey-la-Côte and oak forests used for cask production.

Concours Général Agricole (Salon de l'Agriculture) 2020 — Maison de la Mirabelle / Distillerie de Rozelieures received multiple medals in the whisky section: gold and silver in the 'whisky de France de malt/single malt' category and gold in the 'whisky de France de malt tourbé' category.
