The Amfora Cabernet Sauvignon of Cantina Erzetiĉ comes from vineyards located in an area dedicated to the cultivation of this international grape variety, capable of expressing its qualities at best thanks to the unique terroir. The Cabernet Sauvignon, carefully cultivated, is vinified using techniques that enhance its structure and complexity, followed by aging in terracotta amphorae, which give the wine an authentic note and a Mediterranean elegance. This traditional method allows the varietal aromas to remain intact, enriching the wine with a soft yet enveloping tannic texture, with hints of ripe red fruits, aromatic herbs, and a pleasant spicy touch.

On the palate, it is full, balanced, and deep, with a persistence that invites a second sip. It pairs perfectly with red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, becoming an ideal companion for convivial and refined moments.

Winery history
The Erzetič family has been in Višnjevik for centuries: the family estate has documented historical roots dating back to 1725 and in recent decades has been revitalised by the younger generations. The winery blends the traditional heritage of terraced vineyards with investments in the cellar and projects to transition to ecological practices.
Production philosophy
The approach combines respect for the land with contemporary techniques: careful viticultural practices, stainless-steel vinification for fresh wines, and selected ageing in oak barrels and large buried amphorae to express terroir and longevity.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated in Višnjevik, Goriška Brda, the estate cultivates terraced vineyards on soils rich in marls and laporti, with flysch formations. The microclimate is influenced by the proximity of the Adriatic Sea and alpine currents, factors that contribute to the minerality and acidity typical of the local wines.
Awards and recognitions
The winery has received recognition in international competitions; public listings include medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards for some labels, including the Rebula in some editions.
