Visually, the Barolo Cannubi presents a deep garnet red color, typical of wines that undergo long maturation. On the nose, it reveals a complex bouquet, where the scents of ripe red fruits like cherry and raspberry blend harmoniously with spicy notes of vanilla, tobacco, and a light hint of wild rose. Over time, nuances of chocolate and leather emerge, evidence of careful maturation in wooden barrels.
On the palate, the Barolo Cannubi is rich and full-bodied, with a powerful yet elegant attack. The tannins are well-presented but velvety, beautifully integrated with the natural acidity of the Nebbiolo. This balance gives the wine great aging potential. The finish is persistently long, leaving a pleasantly bitter and spicy aftertaste.
It is presented in a 50cl wooden case, ideal for preserving and further enhancing the wine's aging potential. Perfect for enjoyment on special occasions, the Barolo Cannubi pairs splendidly with rich dishes such as braised meats, meat stews, and aged cheeses. A true treasure for any collector's cellar.
