The Barolo Coste di Rose from Vajra shows an elegant presence, notable for its depth and clarity. On the nose it offers a complex bouquet with hints of small red fruits, floral notes and light earthy nuances; delicate spice touches appear and the aromatic profile evolves slowly in the glass. The overall impression is restrained: aromas are approachable but show potential to develop with some air.

On the palate it reveals a solid structure, supported by present but fine-textured tannins and balanced acidity that provides lift. The finish is persistent, with returning fruit and a subtle spicy tone. It pairs well with traditional dishes, meat preparations and aged cheeses, and seems to benefit from a short decanting before serving. Serve at a slightly elevated temperature in a large glass to appreciate the olfactory evolution.
