The 1997 vintage Barolo, presented in an elegant 50cl bottle and kept in a refined wooden case, is a red wine of extraordinary nobility and complexity, produced in the Langhe, in the heart of Piedmont. This vintage is particularly celebrated for its excellent quality, thanks to favorable climatic conditions that allowed optimal ripening of the Nebbiolo grapes.

Visually, the wine has an intense garnet red color, which tends towards orange with aging. Olfactorily, this vintage of Barolo offers a rich and enveloping bouquet where intertwining notes of ripe fruit such as plum and cherry, along with nuances of chocolate, leather, and tobacco, develop with the elegance afforded by prolonged aging.

On the palate, the 1997 Barolo demonstrates its imposing structure, with robust yet well-smoothed tannins. The complexity of the aromas is also reflected in the taste, with a long and pleasantly harmonious persistence. Notes of red fruits blend with hints of vanilla and sweet spices, offering an extremely rich and lingering finish.

This Barolo is ideal for special occasions and pairs beautifully with rich and structured dishes, such as braised red meats, game, and aged cheeses. It is also a wine that can still be aged in the cellar for a few more years, potentially further enhancing in complexity and harmony.

A gem from Piedmont, this is an excellent choice for lovers of high-end wines looking for a deep and memorable sensory experience.
