Barolo Riserva that shows a concentrated, austere personality, presented in a 20 cl tasting format. On the nose it recalls ripe red fruits accompanied by earthy undertones and light spicy notes; it’s not an immediately easy-drinking wine, but it offers a balance between acidity and structure. The 18-month aging helps to compact the aromatic profile without hiding the typical tannic spine of Barolo, which is felt as incisive but well integrated.

On the palate the sip is solid, with present tannins and a fresh finish, able to accompany dishes with fatty or savory components. It’s meant for those who appreciate wines with character and a certain austerity: opening it a few dozen minutes before serving or pouring it into a wider glass helps to soften its initial closedness. Recommended pairings include braised meats, feathered game, and aged cheeses; serving temperature around 18 °C to better appreciate its dynamics and persistence.
