This Bitter in a 3 L jeroboam format from Mazzetti presents an immediate, recognizable aromatic profile: bitter citrus peels, aromatic herbs and a spicy note that doesn't overpower. On the palate it shows a soft texture at first, then opens into a neat, savory bitterness that supports the body without being aggressive. The residual sweetness is measured, just hinted at, allowing a pleasant, clean persistence; the finish is dry and leaves a herbal trail that invites a second glass.

The boxed jeroboam format makes it ideal for stocking bars or for convivial occasions, as well as for those looking for a showy bottle to give as a gift. It lends itself well to mixing classic and modern cocktails, but also holds up with dignity when enjoyed neat or on ice as an aperitif or after a meal. Pair it with boldly flavored dishes — dark chocolate, cured cold cuts or flavorful cheeses — or use it to give character to bar and kitchen creations.
