Il Brunello di Montalcino DOCG di La Poderina è un vino rosso di straordinaria eleganza e complessità, prodotto nella rinomata regione vinicola di Montalcino, in Toscana. Ottenuto esclusivamente da uve Sangiovese Grosso, questo vino rappresenta l'apice della tradizione vinicola toscana. Al primo sguardo, colpisce il suo colore rosso rubino profondo con lievi riflessi granato.

Al naso, il bouquet è intenso e variegato, con note predominanti di ciliegia matura, mora e prugna, arricchite da sottili sentori di cioccolato fondente, tabacco e spezie dolci come vaniglia e cannella, che derivano dal lungo affinamento in botti di rovere. In bocca, il Brunello di Montalcino di La Poderina è ampio, avvolgente e ben strutturato. I tannini sono presenti ma finemente integrati, conferendo al vino una persistenza e un'eleganza davvero notevoli. La sua acidità bilanciata lo rende piacevolmente fresco, mentre il finale lungo e armonioso chiude con un ritorno di frutti di bosco e spezie.

Questo Brunello è un compagno ideale per piatti di carne rossa, cacciagione e formaggi stagionati. Winery history
La Poderina is an estate in the Montalcino area included in the Tenute del Cerro project. Sources indicate the estate was established in 1988; over the years it has become known for producing Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino and for its Moscadello bottling. The estate is now part of the properties managed by Tenute del Cerro and offers tastings and guided tours of the vineyards and cellar.
Production philosophy
The stated approach combines respect for tradition with modern technical practices: careful vineyard management with controlled yields and aging both in French oak barriques and in large Slavonian casks. The objective is to enhance the territorial expression of Sangiovese grosso while maintaining consistent quality.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the locality of Poderina, within the territory of Castelnuovo dell’Abate. The vineyards are planted on rolling hills at about 350 metres above sea level, in a geological setting characterised by marly and calcareous deposits typical of the Montalcino area.
