Production philosophy
The stated approach combines respect for tradition with modern technical practices: careful vineyard management with controlled yields and aging both in French oak barriques and in large Slavonian casks. The objective is to enhance the territorial expression of Sangiovese grosso while maintaining consistent quality.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the locality of Poderina, within the territory of Castelnuovo dell’Abate. The vineyards are planted on rolling hills at about 350 metres above sea level, in a geological setting characterised by marly and calcareous deposits typical of the Montalcino area.
