Gian Carlo Burlotto’s Barolo DOCG Monvigliero is produced in the hills of Verduno, in the heart of the Langhe, from Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyard is located on Verduno’s highest hill, in an area historically renowned for Barolo production. This wine expresses the identity of its territory and the long-standing connection between the Burlotto family and viticulture in Verduno.
It has a garnet-red color with orangey reflections. The bouquet is characteristic, ethereal, pleasant and intense. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, robust and harmonious. The wine matures in wood for 36 months and develops its finest qualities in the bottle over time. It pairs well with substantial meat dishes and aged cheeses with a pronounced flavor. The recommended serving temperature is 18-20 °C. The declared minimum alcohol content is 13.5%.
