The Chablis Chardonnay produced by the renowned winery Jaffelin is an exceptional example of white wine from the Burgundy region in France. This wine is celebrated for its pure expression of the Chardonnay grape variety, cultivated in the calcareous and fossil-rich soils characteristic of the Chablis area. The vinification is conducted using traditional methods that respect the fruit and the environment, preserving the natural qualities of the grapes.

The Chablis from Jaffelin stands out for its straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers an elegant and complex bouquet with notes of white flowers, green-fleshed fruits, and a slight mineral touch. On the palate, it is lively and fresh with perfect acidity that balances its structure. The persistence and minerality make it ideal for accompanying seafood, fish dishes, and fresh cheeses.

This Chablis is an ideal choice for white wine enthusiasts seeking elegance and purity in the glass, a testament to the excellence of Burgundy in the wine world.

Winery history
Jaffelin's cellars are located in the ancient "Caves du Chapitre" connected to the Collégiale Notre-Dame in Beaune: the cellars date back to the 12th century, and in 1816 the Jaffelin brothers began their négociant business on these premises. Over time the Maison has remained focused on blending and in-house winemaking, preserving and restoring the historic character of its cellars.
Production philosophy
The estate combines artisanal methods with a modern approach to winemaking: it produces handcrafted cuvées, uses traditional equipment, and oversees cellar aging to express the character of the different Burgundian terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Operating in the heart of Burgundy and based in Beaune, Maison Jaffelin sources grapes from several subzones and villages of the region and offers wines ranging from Burgundy and village appellations such as Chambolle-Musigny, Meursault and Gevrey-Chambertin to crémant and terroir cuvées.
