Produced in the heart of the Franche-Comté, this white wine stands out for its elegance and freshness. On tasting, it opens with delicately fruity notes of green apple and citrus, enriched by a subtle hint of vanilla and butter, due to the aging in French oak barrels. The sip concludes with a pleasing minerality and a persistent length, making this wine ideal to accompany delicate fish dishes or medium-aged cheeses. The winemaking process, meticulously overseen by the Jaffelin team, ensures a high-quality product that highlights the unique characteristics of the Burgundy terroir. A must for lovers of Burgundy whites seeking a wine with an excellent quality-price ratio.

Winery history
Jaffelin's cellars are located in the ancient "Caves du Chapitre" connected to the Collégiale Notre-Dame in Beaune: the cellars date back to the 12th century, and in 1816 the Jaffelin brothers began their négociant business on these premises. Over time the Maison has remained focused on blending and in-house winemaking, preserving and restoring the historic character of its cellars.
Production philosophy
The estate combines artisanal methods with a modern approach to winemaking: it produces handcrafted cuvées, uses traditional equipment, and oversees cellar aging to express the character of the different Burgundian terroirs.
