The Pinot Noir Vin de France from Burgundy Jaffelin is an authentic and refined expression of one of the most celebrated French grape varieties. This wine, hailing from the historic region of Burgundy, is renowned for its elegance and complexity. The color is a delicate and inviting ruby, typical of Pinot Noir.

On the nose, the Pinot Noir from Jaffelin offers a harmonious bouquet of red fruits like cherries and raspberries, enriched by subtle spicy notes and a hint of wet earth, reminiscent of the classic Burgundy terroir. On the palate, the wine is balanced with a soft tannic structure and well-integrated acidity that provides freshness and drinkability.

Aging in French oak barrels adds complexity to the wine, with light nuances of vanilla and toast that seamlessly blend with the red fruits.

This Pinot Noir is ideal for accompanying delicate meat dishes such as duck and rabbit, as well as soft cheeses and mushroom-based dishes. An excellence from Burgundy, it represents a sophisticated choice for any wine lover. It is a wine that can be enjoyed immediately or aged for a few years, developing additional aromatic nuances.

Winery history
Jaffelin's cellars are located in the ancient "Caves du Chapitre" connected to the Collégiale Notre-Dame in Beaune: the cellars date back to the 12th century, and in 1816 the Jaffelin brothers began their négociant business on these premises. Over time the Maison has remained focused on blending and in-house winemaking, preserving and restoring the historic character of its cellars.
