The Champagne Le Fontaine Du Cuvée from the Maison M.G. Heucq represents an elegant expression of the Champagne region, a symbol of refinement and tradition. Made with the typical grapes of the region, including Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this Champagne stands out for its aromatic complexity and balanced taste. The winemaking follows classic methods, with a long secondary fermentation that gives fineness and persistent perlage.

In the glass, it presents a bright straw yellow color, accompanied by fruity and floral notes, with slightly mineral hints. On the palate, it shows a harmonious structure, characterized by freshness and savoriness, inviting sip after sip. This Champagne is ideal to accompany refined aperitifs, fish or shellfish dishes, but also pairs well with soft cheeses.

A perfect ambassador of the quality and elegance of Champagne signed M.G. Heucq.

Region: Champagne (Vallée de la Marne, Marne)
Country: Francia
Grapes: Meunier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
Calcareous terroir of Fleury-la-Rivière with marine fossils. Parcel-level vinifications and the combined use of stainless-steel tanks and tonneaux. M.G. HEUCQ brand, launched in 2019 by Guillaume and Mélody; family-run for four generations.
Winery history
Four generations of the Heucq family have worked the vineyards in Fleury-la-Rivière. Robert and Paulette expanded the family holding; in 1979 François and Véronique built a pressing center to become récoltant-manipulant and developed commercialization. In 2019 Guillaume and Mélody resumed operations on about 5 hectares, creating the M.G. HEUCQ label and introducing parcel-based vinification and the use of tonneaux.
Production philosophy
Family-run management of all stages — from vineyard to bottle — with a focus on grape quality, winemaking in both stainless steel and wood, low-impact practices and enhancement of the terroir through blends and single-parcel cuvées. The website also states that HVE certification is underway.
Terroir and vineyards
The parcels are located mainly in Fleury-la-Rivière, a limestone terroir formed 45 million years ago and rich in marine fossils. Soils are varied, and the average age of the vines is reported by the producer at around 35 years.
