Benard Pitois Premier Cru Brut presents fine, lively bubbles that immediately invite the first sip. On the nose there are wild strawberries and fresh cherry, small citrus fruits and a floral accent that doesn’t overpower; a light bready note adds complexity without weighing it down. The persistent fizz creates a delicate mousse that lifts the aromas and gives brightness to the sip. The impression is of balance between freshness and substance: the acidity is lively yet integrated, the mineral texture supports the fruit and hints at an elegant, immediate profile.

On the palate it fulfills the aromatic promise: a lean sip, creamy in the mousse, with recurring notes of red fruit and lemon zest that lengthen into a pleasant persistence. The finish is savory and of good length, with a citrus call that refreshes the drink and invites the next sip. Suitable both as an aperitif and paired with delicate dishes — fish tartare, shellfish, smoked salmon or fresh cheeses —, it should be served cold but not icy, around 8–10°C, to appreciate its finesse and balance.
