The Cru Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC Sensoinverso from Abbazia Santa Anastasia is an authentic tribute to the emblematic grape of Sicily. Cultivated in the heart of the island, in a terroir rich in volcanic soils and a Mediterranean climate, this wine intensely and refinedly expresses all the strength and complexity of Nero d’Avola. The vinification takes place with particular attention to detail, while the aging in oak barrels allows for elegant softness and a perfect balance between structure and freshness. The result is a deep red, with aromas of ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and a slight touch of licorice, accompanied by a velvety tannin and a long, enveloping persistence. Ideal paired with typical Sicilian dishes such as braised meats or aged cheeses, Sensoinverso reveals itself as a wine with a decisive character and timeless Mediterranean charm, embodying the essence of the land and its winemaking traditions.
