Dolcetto d'Alba DOCG Sorì - Tenuta La Rocca is born in the heart of the hills of Alba, one of the most suitable areas in Piedmont, where Dolcetto finds its ideal habitat. The Dolcetto grape variety, known for its liveliness and fruity character, expresses itself here with elegance and freshness. Sorì, a dialect term indicating a south-facing hill, gives the wine a perfect balance between ripeness and acidity, thanks to the combination of climate and limestone-clay soil.

On the nose, it is characterized by intense aromas of cherry, plum, and a slight almond note, while on the palate it reveals a pleasant softness with sweet tannins and a harmonious finish. The careful winemaking method preserves the typicality of the grape variety, enhancing immediate drinkability but with appreciable structure.

Perfect paired with traditional dishes such as tajarin with ragù or flavorful white meats, Dolcetto d'Alba Sorì embodies Piedmontese tradition in a glass.

The appellation’s technical specifications indicate manual harvesting and vinification aimed at preserving freshness and minerality.
Production philosophy
Focus on showcasing the Cortese grape and the terroir: hand-selected harvest, gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature to enhance freshness, fruity aromatics and the mineral notes derived from the marly-calcareous soils.
