This Etna Rosso BIO, sourced from the renowned Pettinociarelle vineyards cultivated by the Statella Family, represents a pure essence of volcanic terroir expression. The unique microclimate of Etna, combined with the altitude and the specific mineral-rich soil composition, endows this wine with distinctive characteristics and an unmistakable personality.

On the nose, the Etna Rosso BIO unveils intense aromas of red fruits like cherries and blackberries, enriched with hints of spices, black pepper, and a subtle balsamic note. Over time, notes of tobacco and dark chocolate also emerge, a testament to its aging in wooden barrels, which refines the aromatic bouquet without overpowering it.

On the palate, the wine is structured yet elegant, with finely woven tannins and a lively acidity that ensures freshness and length. The finish is persistent, with a pleasing return of red fruit notes and a slightly mineral ending that recalls the lava and earth from which it hails.

This Etna Rosso is organic, a sign of the Statella Family's commitment to sustainable and environmentally respectful viticulture practices. It pairs magnificently with robust meat dishes, aged cheeses, and Mediterranean cuisine and has the potential to evolve splendidly even after several years of aging.

The ability of the Pettinociarelle vineyards to convey the most authentic notes of an unrepeatable terroir is fully expressed in this Etna Rosso BIO, a true gem for lovers of quality wines and territorial expression.
