An organic red that well represents the expression of the Etna terroir that the Statella family wants to produce, Etna Rosso Pettinociarelle, name that owes to the district in which the vines are located, is a wine that pours into the glass with a very intense ruby red color in youth.

The olfactory examination reveals a broad bouquet with the prevalence of aromas of red fruits. A balanced wine, with dense and velvety tannins that caress the palate for a long and persistent finish to be savored to the full. Excellent glass to be served as an accompaniment to meat dishes, roasts, cold cuts and aged cheeses.

Production philosophy
Artisanal work in the vineyard and cellar, with careful attention to balance with nature. The goal is to bottle the exact expression of Etna's terroir using environmentally friendly methods and organic production practices.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on the slopes of Etna in contrade such as Pettinociarelle and Pignatuni; the soils are of volcanic origin and the elevations reported for some wines are around 700–750 m above sea level.
