Expression Brut by Geoffroy represents an excellence of Champagne, a pure expression of the Montagne de Reims territory, the vibrant heart of French sparkling wine production. Made primarily from Pinot Noir grapes, it stands out for its elegant structure and lively freshness, the result of meticulous vineyard work and expert vinification.

The classic method of bottle refermentation ensures a fine and persistent perlage, accompanied by a complex aromatic profile. On the nose, notes of citrus, ripe white fruit, and hints of yeast emerge, giving depth and character. On the palate, Expression Brut is balanced with a pleasant acidity that makes every sip harmonious and inviting.

Aged for a significant period on the lees, this Champagne is ideal as an aperitif but also pairs perfectly with light seafood dishes, shellfish, and gastronomic preparations based on vegetables or fresh cheeses, thus enhancing its versatility and timeless elegance.

Champagne Geoffroy – Winery in Champagne (Vallée de la Marne)

Discover the story and wines of Champagne Geoffroy.

Family-run Champagne house operating as a récoltant-manipulant, with vineyards mainly in Cumières (Premier Cru) and a working cellar in Aÿ. It produces expressive cuvées, benefiting from parcel-by-parcel vinification and technical choices focused on freshness.
Region: Champagne (Vallée de la Marne)
Country: Francia
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir
Vineyards concentrated mainly in Cumières. Declared vineyard area: 14 hectares. Declared varietal percentages: approximately 24% Chardonnay, 34% Pinot Meunier, 42% Pinot Noir. The winery and winemaking operations were relocated to Aÿ in 2008. Winemaking practices focused on preserving freshness and the use of traditional pressing.
Winery history
The Geoffroy family has cultivated vineyards in the Vallée de la Marne since the 17th century. In the early 1950s Roger Geoffroy began bottling under his own name. Management then passed to René and later to Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy, who moved the winemaking and commercial operations to Aÿ in 2008. The house has grown while remaining family-run and involving the next generation.
Production philosophy
Production aims to respect the soil and the vineyard’s expression: minimal vineyard work and winemaking conducted parcel by parcel. In the cellar, priority is given to traditional pressing, gravity transfers and choices intended to preserve freshness. Blending and dosage are decided to enhance the wine’s natural balance.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyard covers 14 hectares, divided into plots across the hills of Damery, Hautvillers, Fleury-la-Rivière and, notably, Cumières, a village classified Premier Cru in the Vallée de la Marne. The land is fragmented into numerous clos and parcels that provide diverse varietal expressions typical of the region.
