Expression Brut Jeroboam by Geoffroy is a prestigious Champagne that originates in the renowned Champagne region, precisely in Bouzy, one of the most suitable areas for the cultivation of Pinot Noir. This vintage expresses the purity and elegance typical of the Geoffroy maison, with particular care dedicated to vinification and aging. The blend, predominantly composed of Pinot Noir with small percentages of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, is aged for a long period on the lees, giving the wine a rich aromatic complexity and a very fine bubble.

With a brilliant golden color, the nose opens with notes of ripe white fruit, bread crust, and mineral nuances that enhance the terroir of Bouzy. The taste is vibrant, fresh, and slightly rich, with a refined balance between acidity and softness, typical of a Champagne with great structure intended for consumption that rewards patience. Expression Brut Jeroboam is perfect to accompany noble fish dishes, such as lobster, and delicate white meats, but it also proves ideal as an aperitif for special occasions.

Champagne Geoffroy – Winery in Champagne (Vallée de la Marne)

Discover the story and wines of Champagne Geoffroy.

Family-run Champagne house operating as a récoltant-manipulant, with vineyards mainly in Cumières (Premier Cru) and a working cellar in Aÿ. It produces expressive cuvées, benefiting from parcel-by-parcel vinification and technical choices focused on freshness.
Region: Champagne (Vallée de la Marne)
Country: Francia
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir
Vineyards concentrated mainly in Cumières. Declared vineyard area: 14 hectares. Declared varietal percentages: approximately 24% Chardonnay, 34% Pinot Meunier, 42% Pinot Noir. The winery and winemaking operations were relocated to Aÿ in 2008. Winemaking practices focused on preserving freshness and the use of traditional pressing.
Winery history
The Geoffroy family has cultivated vineyards in the Vallée de la Marne since the 17th century. In the early 1950s Roger Geoffroy began bottling under his own name. Management then passed to René and later to Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy, who moved the winemaking and commercial operations to Aÿ in 2008. The house has grown while remaining family-run and involving the next generation.
Production philosophy
Production aims to respect the soil and the vineyard’s expression: minimal vineyard work and winemaking conducted parcel by parcel. In the cellar, priority is given to traditional pressing, gravity transfers and choices intended to preserve freshness. Blending and dosage are decided to enhance the wine’s natural balance.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyard covers 14 hectares, divided into plots across the hills of Damery, Hautvillers, Fleury-la-Rivière and, notably, Cumières, a village classified Premier Cru in the Vallée de la Marne. The land is fragmented into numerous clos and parcels that provide diverse varietal expressions typical of the region.
