The Gruner Veltliner DOC by Aristos represents a sublime expression of the unique terroir of the Isarco Valley, renowned for its high-quality white wines. This wine, made from a grape variety originally from Austria but now perfectly acclimatized to the cool lands of South Tyrol, embodies a perfect balance between tradition and innovation.

With a straw yellow color and greenish reflections, the Gruner Veltliner by Aristos stands out for its brilliance and clarity. On the nose, it opens with a complex and intriguing bouquet, dominated by aromas of green apple, pear, notes of white peach, and a subtle accent of white pepper, characteristic of this grape variety. The influence of the cool and breezy climate of the Isarco Valley is evident in its refined hints of aromatic herbs and minerality.

On the palate, the wine is lively and fresh. The high acidity is well-balanced by a medium structure, making the Gruner Veltliner by Aristos extremely drinkable and enjoyable. The complexity of the fruity aromas merges with a light spiciness that lingers in a long and clean finish, a hallmark of the quality production of this winery.

Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs wonderfully with fish dishes, seafood, and Asian cuisine, enhancing delicate flavors with its lively acidity. It is also an elegant choice for dishes based on fresh vegetables or as a counterpoint to mildly spiced preparations.

Serve chilled, between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius, to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities. Whether you are a fine connoisseur or a simple enthusiast, the Gruner Veltliner DOC by Aristos is an elegant and fascinating testament to the potential of South Tyrolean white wines.

Winery history
The Isarco Valley has an ancient winemaking tradition. Cantina Valle Isarco was founded in 1961 by a group of local winegrowers. Over time its production facilities have been renewed and it expanded its public services with a modern wine shop. In 2021 the winery celebrated its 60th anniversary and refreshed its image and labels.
Production philosophy
Highlighting the distinctive qualities of the mountain terroir through collaboration among small winegrowers: the winery operates as a cooperative to preserve its connection with the local landscape and to focus on grape quality, with particular attention to the white varieties typical of the Isarco Valley.
Terroir and vineyards
The production area is the Valle Isarco, characterized by gravelly, well-ventilated terrain, relatively dry climates and pronounced diurnal temperature variations. The vineyards are planted on steep slopes and terraces at varying elevations and include cru such as the areas around the Monastero di Sabiona.
