Immerse yourself in the heart of Emilia-Romagna's winemaking region with the Gutturnio Superiore Fermo DOC, expertly produced by the traditional winery La Ratta. This red wine is a true emblem of the Piacenza territory, derived from the skilled vinification of Barbera and Bonarda grapes grown on the fertile hills that embrace the banks of the Po river.

The "Superiore" version of this Gutturnio is distinguished by an extended aging period that ensures a surprisingly rich complexity and structure. Visually, it seduces with its deep ruby red color, while the olfactory profile opens up to a complex and varied bouquet, with hints of ripe fruits like plum and cherry, enhanced by delicate spicy notes and a slight hint of vanilla, due to the aging in wood.

On the palate, the Gutturnio Superiore Fermo from La Ratta offers robustness and balance. Well-integrated tannins support a dense taste texture of ripe fruit and nuances of cocoa, tobacco, and leather, leading to a long and persistent finish. Sophisticated yet powerful, this wine is an excellent choice to accompany local dishes such as hearty salumi, risottos seasoned with meat, or classic mixed boiled meats.

We suggest serving it at a temperature of 16-18°C to enhance all its nuances. A real gem for lovers of firm and structured wines, the Gutturnio Superiore Fermo DOC - La Ratta is set to captivate discerning palates, offering an intense and authentic tasting experience, full of winemaking tradition and passion.
