The Lagrein Alto Adige DOC Granat by Franz Gojer is born in the heart of Alto Adige, a region renowned for its extraordinary viticultural vocation and its unique microclimates. This red, made entirely from the Lagrein grape variety, stands out for its depth and complexity. The carefully managed aging enhances the structure and elegance typical of this native variety, giving the wine intense aromas of ripe forest fruits, spicy hints, and a slight mineral note reminiscent of the mountainous territory. On the palate, it is decisive, with soft tannins and good freshness, making it perfect to accompany rich dishes such as game, red meats, and aged cheeses, enhancing every bite with its enveloping persistence. Granat embodies the South Tyrolean wine tradition with a modern and refined character.

Vigna Rondell: the estate's flagship cru Strong focus on the native grape varieties Schiava and Lagrein. PIPA: fortified wine inspired by the style of Port Generational transition: management transferred to Florian The seat and historic core of Glögglhof date back to the 14th century.
Winery history
Glögglhof has ancient roots. In the 20th century the property remained in family hands; from the 1970s and 1980s Franz Gojer reduced yields and began bottling on site, creating the Vigna Rondell selection in 1987. In the 2000s the family expanded the vineyards and in 2007 acquired the Cornedo all'Isarco site; in 2011 the liqueur-style "PIPA" was launched. After consolidation work on the cellar, the operational handover to Florian took place in 2021, making the estate a fifth-generation operation.
Production philosophy
Quality that begins in the vineyard: attentive management of each site, careful harvesting and winemaking, and measured cellar interventions to preserve the identity of the grapes and the terroir. The approach is family-run and focused on showcasing local varieties and the estate’s crus.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards concentrated in the Santa Maddalena area and in Cornedo all'Isarco, with varied exposures and soils containing calcareous and moraine components; the Cornedo site is located at around 600 metres above sea level.
