Damoiseau's coconut cream presents an immediate and appealing aromatic profile: coconut takes center stage in a fresh, sweet form, accompanied by milky nuances and a light vanilla note that adds softness. On the palate it is enveloping and creamy, with a full but well-balanced texture; the sweetness does not overpower thanks to a savory body and a subtle alcoholic lift from the rum, perceived as controlled warmth rather than aggressiveness. The finish remains clean, with a return of coconut and a pleasant persistence that invites another sip.

It is equally suited to neat consumption, slightly chilled or with a few ice cubes, as it is to use in mixing: it works well as a base for creamy cocktails, paired with tropical juices, or to enrich spoon desserts and chocolate cakes. Distillation

Column distillation (double-effect columns); distillation of the vesou for rhum agricole, produced at about 80–89° before dilution.

Ageing

Finishing in oak foudres for bonifiés (white rhums) and ageing in oak barrels/casks (including ex-bourbon barrels) for rhum vieux; some vintages are finished in casks for multiple years.
