Lodovico of Tenuta del Nicchio represents a refined expression of the Tuscan territory, offering a sensory experience that embodies the passion and winemaking tradition of the Maremma. This wine is born from a careful selection of native grapes, mainly Sangiovese with a possible presence of other local varieties, hand-harvested in vineyards cultivated with environmentally friendly methods. The mild climate, along with the rich and well-drained soils, gives the wine a harmonious structure and natural elegance.

The aging takes place in wooden barrels, where the wine evolves acquiring aromatic complexity and softness on the palate, with a pleasant persistence. On the nose, intense scents of ripe red fruits, violets, and subtle spicy hints can be perceived, giving way to a sensation of freshness and lightness.
