Winery history
The Charrère family has been connected to local viticulture for generations; the commercial company Les Crêtes was founded by Costantino Charrère in 1989 in Aymavilles. Over time the company has championed at-risk native grape varieties and planted vineyards in several municipalities across the valley, later passing into the management of the family's next generations.
Production philosophy
Heroic viticulture practices and a focus on environmental sustainability, with an approach that combines respect for local traditions and innovation in the winery to enhance the mountain character of the wines.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards are situated on alpine terraces in the Aosta Valley along the Dora Baltea. Morainic and sandy soils, varying exposures and altitudes typical of Aosta Valley viticulture, impart freshness and aromatic character to the wines.
