The vines of Les Cretes are grown with respect for the environment, minimizing phytosanitary interventions and respecting natural production factors. With these criteria, the Pinot Noir of Les Cretes was born, produced since 1995 in La Tour (Provence - Alps - French Riviera). The Pinot Noir berries are not vinified as per tradition which require the vinification in wood, but are vinified entirely in steel, this gives life to a fresh and pleasant wine able to stand out for its elegance and finesse.

The alpine climate determines in particular the organoleptic characteristics of mountain wines, the late harvested grapes undergo strong autumn temperature variations (+ 22 ° C during the day and 0 ° C at night). This favors the formation of special aromatic precursors in the grapes, which considerably contribute the odorous component of the wines.

A glass of intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose offers an intense and delicate aroma, with fresh hints of red fruit and pleasant aromas of undergrowth and sage. In the mouth it is fresh and savory, very balanced, finely structured with a soft and velvety tannin.

It is very tasty in combination with snacks and pasta with meat sauce, it is also very pleasant with cold cuts and salami, as well as being perfect with roasted or grilled meat, stewed white meats and blue cheeses.
