Pairing Red meats, aged cheeses, typical Sicilian dishes
Navigabile Etna Rosso DOC from Agricola Ayunta presents an elegant, vertical profile, typical of wines born on Etna’s volcanic soils. On the nose, fresh red fruits, delicate floral notes and a subtle hint of spice emerge; a mineral component is also present, adding tension to the bouquet. The approach is measured and restrained, balancing freshness and aromatic texture in a way that invites another sip. Acidic tension and fine tannic finesse make it enjoyable in the glass now, with room to evolve in bottle.

On the palate it shows fine, well-integrated tannins, a salinity amplified by lively acidity and a medium body that nevertheless leaves a pleasing persistence. The sip is fluid but substantial, well suited to land-based dishes such as roasted meats, mushrooms and aged cheeses; it also stands up well to a flavorful pasta. Serve at around 16–18°C to appreciate the aromatic definition and the very long finish that recalls the initial minerality. Well balanced for the table, it is also ideal for informal, convivial pairings.
