Pecorino d'Abruzzo Superiore DOC - Aspetta Primavera - Linea Top - Az. Agricola Contesa presents itself as an excellence of the Abruzzo territory, an authentic expression of the Pecorino grape variety. Cultivated on the limestone-rich hills of the region, this wine reflects all the minerality and freshness typical of the denomination. The winemaking process involves careful fermentation at controlled temperature, followed by aging in steel that preserves the aromatic brightness and crispness. In the glass, it appears bright straw yellow, with intense aromas of white flowers, citrus, and light hints of exotic fruit. On the palate, it reveals itself as fresh, vibrant, and endowed with a pleasant balance between acidity and body, with a persistent and mineral finish. Ideal to accompany fish dishes, crustaceans, and seafood appetizers, Aspetta Primavera embodies the strength and freshness of a unique terroir, capable of exciting with every sip.

Winery history
Contesa was founded as a winemaking project linked to the Pasetti family; online sources describe the central role of Rocco Pasetti and his family in managing the estate. The cellar carved into the hillside was completed in the 2000s, and from there the estate developed several ranges of wines focused on the grape varieties typical of Abruzzo.
Production philosophy
Production aimed at enhancing the Abruzzo terroir and employing low-impact winemaking practices: selective use of wood, controlled fermentations, and attention to preserving the freshness of native grape varieties. Sources also report a commitment to sustainability and a transition to organic practices and environmental certification.

Vineyards in the Collecorvino area, on the hills northwest of Pescara: favourable south-facing exposure, clay-limestone soils and elevations of around 250 m above sea level; conditions considered suitable for Montepulciano and other local grape varieties.
