Primitivo IGT Salento - Es - Gianfranco Fino 2022

The result of a meticulous selection of the grapes harvested after a light drying in the vineyard, which are then vinified in steel containers and left to mature for nine months in first and second passage barriques.

Already from the sight of the glass, this wine presents itself with an intense ruby ​​color that exudes joy. This emotion persists when you appreciate its radiant and inviting bouquet, which offers aromas of cherry, plum, berries, toasted almonds, orange, violet and spices. Tertiary notes of licorice, tobacco, coffee and tar also emerge later. This bouquet constitutes a demanding promise for your nose, which is fully confirmed on the palate.

On the palate, the wine initially presents itself with a powerful and enveloping sensation, followed by a pleasant freshness, softness, flavor and a harmonious balance. The sip offers a satisfying and persistent finish.

This wine pairs perfectly with traditional Apulian cuisine, but is equally suitable for accompanying dishes mushrooms-based dishes, meat, mature cheese or to be enjoyed on its own.
