Pairing Red meats, aged cheeses
In the glass it shows a deep ruby colour and on the nose ripe red fruits and notes of plum prevail, with a spicy undertone that does not overpower. The palate is warm and vertical at the same time, supported by a soft tannic structure and good freshness that balances the persistence. The sensation is of savory fullness, with a clear progression towards a long, caressing finish that invites a second taste.

It is a wine designed for dishes with a strong personality: grilled meats, ragù sauces, semi-aged cheeses and preparations with spicy touches find a natural companion. Serve between 16 and 18 °C in a large glass to enhance the aromas; it is enjoyable already when young but can age for a few years in the cellar to further round out. Also excellent as a companion to a convivial meal where the wine should provide structure without losing drinkability.
